KAIMUKI HIGH SCHOOL FOUNDATION MEETING Kaimuki High School Library January 7, 2003

1. MEETING MINUTES: The minutes of the November 26, 2002 meeting was reviewed. It was moved and seconded that the minutes of the meeting of November 26, 2002 be approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. 2. COMMITTEE REPORTS: FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: 1. Shirts: Will be sold at the fundraiser. Anne had volunteers covering sales. 2. Entertainment: Entertainers will be Kelly DeLima, Mel Cabang, and Ellsworth Simeona. We are not anticipating that Simplicity will entertain. DeLima will charge $250.00; Simeona - $150.00. Mel is donating his time. 3. Advertisement: Names of donors will be advertised - Fisher HI, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Meadow Gold, Aloum Farms, L’Uraku, etc. 4. Food: Proposal was made and accepted to sell any left over chicken for $5.00 for a plate of 10. 5. Security and Parking: Reggie reported that the police, security personnel and ROTC are ready to assist. 6. Name tags: 300 tags will be purchased for this event. 7. Question was raised whether it makes a difference for excise tax purposes whether the item sold was donated or purchased by the Foundation. Dale will check with Wayne.
3. NEW BUSINESS It was moved and seconded to transfer all but approximately $5000.00 from the checking account into the savings account. Motion passed unanimously.
4. NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at 6:00 p.m.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
