KAIMUKI HIGH SCHOOL FOUNDATION

Dear Friends of Kaimuki High School,

The Kaimuki High School Foundation has been formed by volunteers to help our alma mater better serve and educate the children in our Kaimuki High School community. The goal of the KHS Foundation is to raise money to assist in providing technology, equipment, training, and additional support for academic and extracurricular activities that otherwise might not be available through the normal resources of Kaimuki High School, and to sponsor projects on or around the campus that can serve as a source of pride for all who are attending and who have attended Kaimuki High School. The Foundation has been accepted as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

The officers of the Foundation are President, Steven Nakashima ('72), Vice President, Mike Takamoto ('63), Secretary, Dale Yashiki ('72), and Treasurer, Wayne Tanna ('73). In addition to the officers who are also Board members, others on the Board are Gary Skinner ('84), and Ken Kiyabu ('55). We expect other Board members to be added in the future.

Through the generosity of fellow alumni, we raised approximately $15,000.00 this past year, and pledged $5,000.00 to assist Kaimuki High School in fulfilling its Technology Plan.

We continue to solicit monies to assist the many projects that enhance and improve the quality of education at Kaimuki High School. Donations may be mailed to: Kaimuki High School Foundation, 2705 Kaimuki Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii 96816.
